ASTARTA sums up the production results of 2008

In December ASTARTA summarized the production results of 2008. The Holding has harvested more than 394 thousand tons of grains and oilseeds (96% up y-o-y), provided to customers more than 32 thousand tons of milk ( 20% up y-o-y), It has produced more than 1.5 million tons of sugar beet (61% up y-o-y), and its sugar plants processed more than 1.7 million tons of sugar beets (72% up y-o-y).

ASTARTA sells carbon credits to EBRD Fund

ASTARTA Holding N. V. attracts $25 million loan from FMO

On Thursday, October 23, 2008, at the Astarta-Kyiv office in Kyiv, ASTARTA Holding N. V. CEO Mr. Viktor Ivanchyk and FMO CEO Mr Nanno Kleiterp signed a $25 million term facility agreement provided to ASTARTA, Ukraine´s leading agricultural and sugar producer. The loan will enable ASTARTA to diversify its credit portfolio and to finance its agricultural and sugar production operations.
